Trappist Ales
& other beers from Belgium
Chimay White Label “Tripel”
This Trappist Ale is golden in color
& nicely hoppy.
11.2 ounces 7% alcohol $8.00
Rochefort 10
This strong Trappist ale would definitely be put in the sip and savour category. Dark sugars with almost a molasses like presence. Very complex, full bodied and wonderful.
11.2 ounces 11.3% alcohol $9.00
Orval
This Trappist Ale is dry hopped & is neither
filtered or pasteurized. It makes a wonderful apértif.
11.2 ounces 6.2% alcohol $8.00
Westmalle “Dubbel”
This Trappist Ale is deeply malty with a dry
finish.
11.2 ounces 7% alcohol $8.00
Duvel “Blonde
Ale ”
$5.00
Lindemans Framboise

added
12 ounces $10.00
Liefmans Kriekbier

beer featureS
Tripel Karmeliet “Tripel”
Brewed with oats, barley and wheat, Tripel Karmeliet has soft, full, rich grain character with hints of banana, vanilla, and a slight, pleasing bubble-gum aroma. A restrained hop bitterness offers perfect balance and a gentle counterpart to its substantial maltiness.
11.2 ounces $7.00
Brewery Ommegang “Hennepin”
Belgian style Farmhouse Saison made in Cooperstown New York. Strong Belgian characteristics from the Belgian yeast strain used to ferment and a light and lively mouth feel from the bottle conditioning. I think it is a perfect big beer (7.5% alcohol) for summer.
12 ounces $5.00
beers to share with friends
Ommegang “Chocolate Indulgence” & 2 Glasses
Chocolate malt, cocoa powder and a Belgian yeast strain make for a complex rich brew. Initial sip I tasted sweet milk chocolate followed by flavors of dry and bitter dark chocolate Buy a bottle get beer and 2 Brewery Ommegang Chololate Indulgence Chalices. 7% alcohol.
25.4 ounces $18.00
Southern Tier “Imperial Iniquity"
I think Southern Tier is trying to mess with your mind on this one. A Black DIPA made “debittered” black malts and rather traditional hop varieties. Malt where you think should be hops, hops where there should be malt. I like the body a lot, not sweet, but a nice big monster none the less. 9% alcohol.
$11.00
New Belgium “1554"
Brussels Style Black “Ale"
Dark chocolate malts and a light “lager” yeast strain, (so I guess it is kind of hybrid). Lighter bodied, almost peat like flavors from the chocolate malts with a lager yeast nose. 5.6% alcohol.
$8.00

Unibroue “La Fin Du Monde”
Triple fermented golden ale, 9% alcohol,
subtle yet substantial.
$6.00
Surly “Bender”
Brown in color, the flavor profile is more like an oatmeal
Brown Porter with a very dry finish. It is a session beer.
5% alcohol $4.95
Dark Horse Brewing Company Scotch Ale “Scotty Karate”
This Wee Heavy at 9.5% alcohol is brewed to more of an American take on the traditional Scotch Ale. I found it to have a deceptively mellow malt profile, hardwood not peat smoked malts were used, with some flavors and aromas of butterscotch.
This one should warm you down to your toes.
